About This Project
A home health and hospice organization faced significant challenges in managing incoming faxes from thousands of referral sources nationwide. These faxes came in varied formats and lacked structured content, requiring manual work to segregate, extract relevant information, validate requirements, and enter the data into an intermediary system, followed by re-entry into the EHR system, HomeCare HomeBase. Our objective was clear but complex:
Analyze and Extract Content: Use AI and large language models to analyze and extract required information from incoming faxes.
Automate Validation and Entry: Validate the extracted information and seamlessly enter it into an intermediary system, followed by automatic re-entry into the EHR system.
